Ordinary page delivery
When you request a web page, the hosting and network systems necessarily process connection information such as an IP address and requested resource. Technical logs may also include request time, browser information and error details. Hosting-level practices and retention are separate from the browser features described below; this notice does not claim that requesting a page leaves no network records.
The supplied pages do not include analytics libraries, advertising pixels, external font requests or third-party embedded widgets. Images, scripts and styles are referenced locally. Following an external reference opens a separate service that has its own privacy practices.
Checklist choices
The home-page checklist stores completed checkbox identifiers in your browser’s local storage under vaultventureradarp-safety-check-v1. It does not store your passwords, account names or device-scan results. These choices are not transmitted by the checklist script. They remain until you use “Clear saved progress,” remove site storage in your browser or your browser clears them.
Other people using the same browser profile may see this progress. Local storage is not encrypted secret storage. If storage is unavailable, the checklist works for the current page session without saving its state.
Message preparation, clipboard and downloads
The contact tool constructs plain text in your browser. It has no server submission endpoint and does not transmit the draft. Copying uses your device’s clipboard when available. Downloading creates a local text file. Your operating system, clipboard-sync settings, browser form restoration or other software may retain information outside this tool’s control.
Review the text before copying, downloading or sending it. Delete local copies and clear the clipboard when appropriate, particularly on shared devices.
Email you choose to send
If you separately email us, your message, address and ordinary email metadata are processed to review and respond to the inquiry, address corrections or handle a privacy request. Email delivery involves mail service providers. We do not ask you to send account secrets, and ordinary email should not be treated as a secure incident-reporting channel.
We aim to retain correspondence only as needed for the inquiry, relevant administration and applicable obligations. Exact deletion timing can depend on email backups and legal requirements. Do not assume that withdrawing a message can remove copies already delivered to another system.
Your choices and requests
You can clear local progress without contacting us and use the site without completing the checklist. You can also decline to use the contact tool or send email. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing. Contact us to discuss a request; we may need proportionate information to verify it. Do not send sensitive identity material unless an appropriate process has first been agreed.
